FUNDAMENTALS (PAYG)

New to floorwork or a seasoned floor-lover looking to finesse your technique; without the pressure of learning a full routine? This is the class for you! Each week, we’ll deep dive into the essential elements of floorwork: shoulder rolls, stands, legwork, fluid transitions, poses, and more. The focus is on building strength, control, and confidence in each movement. While we’ll occasionally link elements together in short sequences to help with flow, this isn’t a choreography-based class, like our weekly SXY Floor Flow or monthly workshops. Perfect on its own or as a complement to our weekly SXY Floor Flow classes and monthly SXY Floor Flow Workshops. Build your skills, refine your technique, and feel amazing doing it!
This class is suitable for
This class is suitable for everyone! There are no prerequisites, and no pole is used in this class. Perfect for anyone looking to improve their floorwork skills or just have fun!
What to wear and bring
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. This can be pole wear, or leggings and a t-shirt. Heels are optional and we have spare heels you can borrow if you need (select sizes). Socks are perfect if you are not wearing heels, and kneepads are essential.
All jewellery must be removed.
No body lotions, oils, or fake tans to be applied within 24 hours of your class.
Bring water, a pole cloth and a fully charged phone to record your progress.
Booking and Cancellations:
24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours your credit will be returned to your account. Ensure you unregister on TeamUp to allow others on the waitlist to book your spot.
Door and Lateness Policy:
Please arrive 5 minutes early where you will be let into the building by your Instructor. We cannot accommodate late arrivals, and no refunds will be given for missed classes. Our building is securely locked to the public, with no buzzer, and instructors are not available for phone contact. Familiarise yourself with the door policy before attending.
