TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read this carefully. When you sign up as a Member of Pivot Pole Studio (PPS) and book any class, course, or session, we assume you’ve read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. These are the first things you read & sign when signing up to TeamUp, and you cannot book anything until they have been signed.
These include:
• Studio Etiquette & Door Policy
• Booking & Cancellation Policy
• Privacy Policy
You must agree to these to take part in any class. If you don’t agree, please don’t book. We may update these Terms & Conditions. If we do, we’ll email all members & you'll need to resign in order to book anything further.
BOOKINGS & MEMBERSHIPS
• Classes are for ages 16+ only
• PPS has the final say on whether someone can join a class, workshop, or event.
• We also decide which class best suits your ability level.
• Everyone must fill in a Health & Safety form and sign our Policies before joining. Let us know if anything changes (e.g. injuries, medical conditions).
BOOKING PROCESS
• All bookings must be done online through TeamUp on our website.
• No drop-ins. No in-person payments (unless specified)
• We do not accept card, PayPal, or cash at the studio (unless specified)
• All sales are final and non-refundable (unless specified)
• Classes open for booking up to 5 weeks in advance
• New here but have taken classes elsewhere? Email us at info@pivotpolestudio.co.uk so we can recommend the right class for you
• You can also read descriptions in our booking system or on our website
• You can attend any class at or below your level. If attending a lower level class, you must work within that level. Do not book into higher-level classes unless your instructor invites you.
CLASS CREDITS & PACKS
• Use the Waitlist if your class is full.
• Class credits are only for the person who bought them—no sharing or transfers.
Validity periods:
• Class/Practice Packs = from the date of purchase. Validity periods vary:
• Single Class - valid 5 weeks from the date of purchase
• Pack of 4 Classes - valid 6 weeks from the date of purchase
• Pack of 8 Classes - valid 8 weeks from the date of purchase
• Pack of 12 Classes - valid 8 weeks from the date of purchase
• Pack of 16 Classes - valid 10 weeks from the date of purchase
• Private & Semi-Private credits = 6 months from the date of purchase
• It’s your responsibility to track your start and expiry dates. We do not extend expiry dates unless the studio is closed. If we close the studio, your credits will be extended by that many days. If a class is cancelled due to illness or other issues, we’ll extend your credit by 7 days.
• Keep track of what you've booked by logging in to your TeamUp account
• Prices may increase occasionally. We’ll give you notice via our website, email, and Facebook page.
LATENESS & CANCELLATIONS
• Cancel at least 24 hours before class to keep your credit. Cancellations within 24 hours result in a lost credit.
• Guest instructor events, intensives, and photoshoots may have different rules—check before booking.
• Arrive 5–10 minutes before class. The building is locked to the public so only an Instructor can let you in. If you arrive late, you will not be let in.
• No refunds or credit transfers for missed doors.
• We cannot answer calls or messages once class starts. No exceptions
• We use a 3-strike rule for no-shows. If you miss class without cancelling, we’ll cancel your future bookings, return those credits to your account and/ or temporarily block you from booking future classes.
MARKETING & EMAILS
• You can opt in to our newsletter for updates on classes, events, and offers.
• You can unsubscribe anytime.
• We follow GDPR rules (see our Private Policy)
LIABILITY
• You participate at your own risk
• By agreeing to these Terms, you accept the risks involved.
• PPS is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage during participation.
• If you damage the studio or equipment, you are financially responsible.
PREGNANCY & POST-NATAL - this is changing soon!
If you are pregnant

We cannot accept new students who are pregnant (for safety & insurance reasons).

Already a PPS student and become pregnant? → Please tell us as soon as possible.

We’ll work with you 1:1 to find safe training options.
After giving birth

Wait 6–12 weeks before coming back (time depends on type of birth: vaginal or cesarean).

Please contact us before joining group classes.

We offer a Postnatal Back to Pole Personal Programme → designed for your recovery + fitness level, with a trained instructor.
Medical clearance

Please check with your GP, midwife, or healthcare professional before training again.
YOUR AGREEMENT
✅ I’m 16 or older
✅ I trust PPS to work in my best interest
✅ I’ll let PPS know about any injuries or health issues
✅ I’ll always treat my instructor and classmates with respect
✅ I understand unsafe or abusive behaviour = immediate removal
✅ I’ll follow the Studio Etiquette & the above Terms & Conditions
✅ I accept pole fitness can be risky, and I’ll take responsibility for my safety
